Pyro is an experimental publication addressing Barcelona’s 1780–2020 climate data and specifically warming through the use of material.

The publication is specifically designed with bitmap images and text to be printed using a thermal printer and thermal paper, creating a blackening effect by literally overheating the paper and thus inhibiting the readability of text and media.
Hello! My name is David Molina Gadea, i’m a graphic designer with a focus in book design. My work springs from a deep interest in the history of art and the relationship between images and text. I am also an enthusiast photographer and the artistic director of LA NUU, international photography festival of Rubí, Barcelona.
